Dear Diary:
Apparently I could go into marketing because you don’t need any creativity at all. You just need to state the obvious:
In a recent Nicorette commercial, the woman begins by saying: “People report that the hardest part of quitting is controlling cigarette cravings.”
um, no shit. I had no idea that the hardest part of quitting an addiction is controlling the craving for the thing to which you are addicted. Wow. There are some brilliant minds at work.
Maybe Nicorette will hire me to write their commercials. My cover letter should say:
“You should hire me because hiring me is something you should do.”
I’ll totally land the job.
Now that I’m out of a job, the fact that some people still have jobs, such as whoever wrote that commercial, is so very absurd.
